Hello again, not long now until that much-needed January pay day! Continuing my theme of helping you do things a little differently in 2018, (if you so desire, it’s not mandatory!) today I’m reminding you about a fabulous shop that’s tucked away in Emmer Green. True Food Co-op.
True Food Co-op is a not-for-profit community shop which specialises in local, ethical, organic and wholesome food and toiletries. For those of you who are keen to reduce the waste burden you put on the planet, a really cool thing is that you can buy loads of foods loose there. That includes delicious numbers such as rice, beans and dried fruits.
There’s a friendly group of volunteers that run the shop and you’ll find it packed with tasty treats that are better for you than most of the chemical-packed foods that fill our big supermarkets. Plus, you get the added benefit of supporting lots of local suppliers whose produce is stocked there too.
If you’re in the area, why not pop in and say hello?
You can find True Food Co-op at:
61 Grove Road
Opening Hours are:
Wednesday – Saturday: 10am-6pm
